What is the chemical reaction Class 10?
Chemical Reaction: The conversion of a chemical substance into another substance known as Chemical Reaction. For example: Iron corrosion, milk storage in curd, digestion, respiration, etc.
In a chemical reaction, a completely new substance is formed that is different from the original material, so in a chemical reaction, chemical reactions occur.
Only the reorganization of atoms occurs in a chemical reaction.
• The substances that play a role in chemical reactions are called reactants.
• New products produced as a result of chemical reactions are called products.
Example: The burning of magnesium in the air to form magnesium oxide is an example of a chemical reaction.

Before burning in the air, the magnesium ribbon is cleaned by scrubbing with sandpaper.
This is done to remove the protective layer of magnesium carbonate based on the surface of the magnesium ribbon.

Product: A new substance developed after a chemical reaction is called a product.
Example: MgO.
Chemical reaction factors:
(i) Gas Discovery: The chemical reaction between zinc and dilute sulfuric acid is determined by the emergence of hydrogen gas.
Zn (ama) + H2SO4 (aq) → ZnSO4 (aq) + H2 (g) ↑
(ii) Color Changes: The chemical reaction between citric acid and the purple solution of potassium permanganate is characterized by a change in color from purple to colorless.
The chemical reaction between sulfur dioxide gas and acid solution of potassium dichromate is characterized by a change in color from orange to green.
(iii) Transformation: The waxing of a candle is characterized by a change from the solid to the liquid and gas (because the wax is solid, the water formed by the wax is not a liquid at a temperature equal to room temperature and, the carbon dioxide produced by waxing is gas). There are chemical reactions that can show more than one factor.
(iv) Temperature change: The chemical reaction between fast-acting limestone to form slaked lime is characterized by a change in temperature (i.e. an increase in temperature).
The chemical reaction between zinc granules and dilute sulfuric acid is also manifested by temperature changes (which is an increase in temperature).
(v) Rainfall formation: The chemical reaction between sulfuric acid and barium chloride solution is reflected in the formation of white barium sulfate.
